Imagine a fashion accessory that is attached directly to your eye. Not your eyelashes. Not your eye lids. Directly to your eyeball! Leave it to the Dutch to find the next big thing in fashion. Introducing, eye jewelry.

In the Netherlands, a Dutch ophthalmologist is perfecting a technique that will change the way you look at the fashion world…literally. Eye jewelry is the latest thing and it is catching on in a big way. A small piece of specially designed jewelry, available in various shapes, is surgically implanted on the patient's eyeball. The piece of fashion jewelry is attached in one of the exterior layers of the eyeball and catches glances all around town. Here is the lowdown on this new fashion craze.

Fashion: Turning it Up a Degree

  • Delicate Placement. The piece of fashion jewelry is inserted in an outer layer of the eyeball called the conjunctiva, without doing any damage to the eye.
  • Side Effects? Doctors perfecting the fashion procedure say that there have been no side effects from the surgery and none are expected.
  • And the Price? The going rate for the latest eye fashion implant is between $600 and $1,200 per eye.
Just when you thought the fashion world couldn't get any more cutting-edge, the eye jewelry trend hits you with full force. Maybe you have an eye for what's hot in the fashion world. You can get your fashion training from a local technical school and begin an exciting career. A fashion degree is all you need.

Fashion Degree: Training in Hip

  • Environment. Your fashion degree will have you working in ultra-modern design studios where you can develop your skills.
  • Outlook. In our commercial society, there will always be a demand for a fashion professional with training and a degree.
  • Education. The typical fashion school training program is a four year degree completed on campus or online.
There is little doubt that a fashion degree will be your ticket to one of the coolest careers out there. Get your training and make the fashion career field your own.
